Several people see such hosting offers one or the other day denoting, "unlimited bandwidth only for $3 per month". It can be anything including unlimited bandwidth, mailboxes, space etc; but "unlimited bandwidth" is the most commonly prevailing offer.

One should be considered fool if he/she do not sign up such offer. The name: UNLIMITED bandwidth, remove half of the tension of a user, then the extent of visitors doesn't matter for him/her because of the availability of limitless bandwidth.

One usually thinks in the same way. But, when user goes for such offers it proves to be a mirage. And then makes a final judgment in his/her mind: don't get attract to such offers!!

In real sense there is nothing unlimited. For an instance, classic hard disks are now of 80 or 120 GB. They will increase in their capacity, but there will be nothing actually called "unlimited disk". If one extends space, one merely needs to purchase another disk, that's the only one

and last alternative. Similarly in bandwidth, Internet connection for one's host can have 10MB/s or higher throughput, but it cannot be termed as an "unlimited" one. In fact, it is termed as UNMETERED bandwidth. "UNMETERED" means, "one cannot measure the exact utilization of bandwidth".

One again thinks that, he/she can use ample of bandwidth because hosts do not have any criteria to know it.

Unfortunately, mistaken again. One should think about resource limits of the server machine on which his/her site is. For a user computer with proper speed may consume around $2000, and the Internet connection may lay around $500 per month. It not ends here only, miscellaneous expenditures like electricity, technical support, collocation facility rental, etc. also involves. Hence, to extract profit from available $3 per month, the company should place around 500, 1000 or even up to 2000 people on an unchanged computer. This is the only one sided option left, nothing else.

Hence, one has to rely on a host, hosted on $3 a month along with 1000 other people. For an instance, one's site is becoming famous and receiving additional visitors on a regular basis. It happens with other web sites on one's server. Resulting, overloading of the server. Hence, concluding with slow pace of both server and user's web site.

One should keep in mind that Internet connection, server CPU power, disk etc are not infinite; the same amount of them must be divided between more and more page requests. If one's site handles 10 visitors a day and provides with outstanding response, one cannot anticipate same result while handling 10.000 visitors.

Hence, which way is opened for hosting company? They will choose such websites, which consumes the majority of bandwidth/CPU power. One should not consider it? User should vigilantly go through terms and conditions of service while dealing with the host. The host will make a proper utilization of it. One cannot expect a refund of money if his/her account is closed. It is because user has violated their TOS
