SEO - how to get your site outof the Google Sandbox
Is your new site sitting in theinfamous Google "sandbox"? There is a way to get it out fast, aswell as getting all of your other pages indexed!
How?
Write an article on your site topic andupload it to your website. You can either put it on your indexpage, or place a snippet of the content with a link to your newarticle on your index page. Then - submit your article to allthe free article directories you can find. It doesn't even haveto be a long article - just as long as it offers value to thereader.
{jumi[adinclude/adsense-incontent-336x280.php][0][0][2]}>Submitting your article to the freearticle directories also means that you get instant valuableback links to your site which is vital if you want to rank wellin Google.
How do I know whether my siteis in the Sandbox?
If your site is in the sandbox, if youdo a search for http://www.yoursite.com in Google, you will probably just see thiskind of information displayed on the results page:
If your site is indexed in Google, theresults page will look like this:
Your site description and what yoursite is about will appear here.
Google can show you the following information for this URL:
- Find web pages that are similarto www.youresite.com
- Find webpages that link to www.youresite.com
- Find web pages from the sitewww.youresite.com
- Find web pagesthat contain the term www.youresite.com
You can also do a check at http://www.uptimebot.com to seehow many of your pages are indexed by the searchengines.
Proof that this methodworks?
I recently registered two new websitesand linked to them from one of my sites that have PR. Doing asearch for them showed that both of them just showed up ashttp://www.mysites.com which means that they were not indexed yet. Checking onUptimebot it showed that Google had one link for each of them, but no additional pages.
After writing an article for related tothe one site, I uploaded it to my site and submitted it to thevarious article directories. The next day's search showed thatmy site was in the Google Index because it was showing theadditional information about my site, and a check on Uptimebotrevealed that I now had all of my pages (20) indexed inGoogle.
Now that I know this method works, Iwill be doing it for my other sites as well. Don't you think youtoo should get writing?
