A home based business means you don't need anyone to operate your business and that you can do everything on your own. You can write the sales letter, set up your autoresponder, write the emails, create the banners and graphics, create the website and the list goes on. This means that you are the CEO, marketing manager, IT manager, business development manager, copywriter and coffee lady all at the same time. Can you be all this? Some people have taken on all of these roles in their home business. If you're on a budget and cannot afford to hire others to fill some of these roles, then you will have to be everything.

If you have allocated a budget to invest in your home business, it saves you time and energy to hire others to do some of the work for you. There are many freelance copywriters, graphic designers and programmers on the Internet willing to do work for you at reasonable rates. It's wiser to let others do what they do better than you while you focus on marketing your business.

Thing #4: What is FTP?

Many people are afraid of starting an online business because they don't know nuts about IT. Some Internet marketers don't know nuts about IT too! However, it helps to have IT knowledge.
