To evaluate a company like Ayela, or any other company, consider the following:

1. DO NOT lose your common sense! It's not all easy money and no work.

2. Research, research, research. Educate yourself on the industry and the company in particular. Is the company part of the Direct Selling Alliance? If you mention the company name to someone, do they cringe?

3. Take everything your sponsor says with a grain of salt. What are they telling you about the company and how you'll make money? Does what they say contradict the policies and procedure of the company? Are they encouraging you to spend more money that you can comfortably afford? How do they take "no" for an answer?

4. Do you have an extra $1000 to spend on your business in the first few months? Not the mortgage money. Not the kids lunch money. Extra money. You'll need money to pay day to day business costs like phones, computers, internet access, business and office supplies, marketing etc. Can you wait a month to receive any bonus checks from your company without dipping into your personal money?

5. Ready to do taxes? Do you know what you can legally deduct and what you can't? A consultation with a CPA who specializes in home based business wouldn't hurt.

6. Don't buy into the "you must sign up today" hype. If your sponsor can't wait for you to investigate the company before you invest
