Calling prospects and convicing them that they need what you have is not positioning. I used to spend all of my time tracking down existing customers, practically begging them to re-order. That was not a good way to position myself. Waking up in the morning and finding messages from qualified leads telling me they absolutely need what I have is positioning. People come to you.
