Is Video Marketing That Effective?

Many marketers online and bloggers around the Internet have used it and even claim it converts customers better. What am I talking about? Well it's video marketing. I have been playing around with video marketing for some time but what I can say about video marketing is that it is not as effective as what you may have thought.

Cons of Video Marketing

- Time consuming
- Not many people would bother to press the play button ( You will be surprised when you track stuff )
- Need to learn complicating programs to learn how to edit the video

For blogging aspect, I have many videos posted in my blog but what I realized were more people reading a post compared to playing a video based on my tracking results. From first hand experience, it will normally take me about 1 hour of my time to create just a 20 minute video tutorial. However, it can be very disappointing sometimes when out of 300 people who read a post only about 50 to 100 people would bother to play the video.

So How Do You Get More People To View Your Video?

Here's a simple but yet evil trick you can do to make your readers view your video. When the page loads on your blog or website, you do a auto play of the video and force the viewer to see your video. Or you can say there is a hidden code in the video you can claim a FREE gift
