Now, you have put up a very nice blog. But how do you tell the world about your blog?

One of the way is to email your friends, relatives, colleagues and whoever in your contacts asking them to read your blog. But that is only within and limited to your circle of friends, how about those that don't know you? Wouldn't it be good to have strangers to read your blog and find it interesting.

1. Ping to Blog Search Engines to tell them about your new post. You can ping to either one of these FREE pinger services:
ipings
AutoPinger
Ping-o-matic
FeedShark

2. For Malaysian bloggers, you can also ping your latest posts to Project Petaling Street and Sara (South East Asian Blog Aggregators).

3. Digg your own article / post if you think others might find it useful and interesting.

4. Build a network of friends via online communities and forums such as BloggerHub.com, MyBlogLog.com, BlogCatalog.com

5. Sign up with social media sites like Digg.com, StumbleUpon.com, Thoof.com. Make friends and start giving flattering remark for sites that you find newsworthy.

6. Submit your Blog URL to Blog Directories or Networks.

7. Visit other blogs of similar topics / subjects. Place valid and sincere comments where appropriate and leave behind your blog URL.

8. Link exchange with other blogs that similar to yours.

9. Have unique outlook or theme of your blog, differentiate yourself from others to create the special impression to first time visitors.

10. Promote your blog with signature link - use your blog URL as your email signature whenever / wherever appropriate.
