You sometimes happen to meet people that you feel unexplainably close to from the first time you see them. You could chat with them for hours and they become your best friends. If this can happen in the real world, why couldn't it also happen online? The blogging community offers you the possibility to meet interesting people and enlarge your circle of friends. Blogs create connections between people, allowing them to communicate despite the fact that they live in different parts of the world. Convince your friends and family who love abroad to join the blogging community and you will have a lot of fun talking to each other through your blogs.

Blogs can change your life, helping you to become more organized and more responsible. Many of the greatest artists and politicians used to keep a diary (back in those days, the Internet hadn't been invented). Perhaps the fact that you take the time to think about the day that has just finished and write down your impressions helps

you see more clearly what you want to achieve and how far along the way you have got. However, blogs are not only for keeping daily records of your actions. You can post on your blog interesting news, your favorite music or quotes or anything that you would like to share with the other members of the blogging community.

You must not think of the blogging community as an exclusive circle. Everybody who wants to exchange impressions and thoughts is welcomed to join. In order for your blog to be acknowledged, you need to follow a few tips. First of all, verify a rumor before you write it in the blog, so that the readers will know that can really trust your blog. Secondly, try to avoid long and boring stories. Nobody will have the patience to read a text that is more than a page long. Racist and discriminatory content should also be avoided. Readers appreciate originality, so if you have your unique style, then your blog will be very popular.

In order to make friends in the blogging community, share your interests and passions with the others. If you have a hobby, write about it in your blog. Surely there will be several others who have the same hobby and are anxious to talk about it with you. The perfect basis for a friendship is to have things in common. You choose your friends from people who have the same (or similar) beliefs and ideals as you, right? Blogs can bring together people with similar life concepts. Writing in a blog will allow you to discover and develop your personality. In the same time, you will learn to tolerate and accept others' opinion.

Tolerance is a lesson that we all must learn and blogs help us learn it faster. In the blogging community, an argument is solved through civilized debate and discussions, not through insults and fights. This is what should happen in the real world, too. Don't forget that the only way to make new friends, online or offline, is to be friendly yourself. In order to live in a better world, we should all do our best to make it better.
