Everything About Affiliate Marketing Network
Online affiliate marketing has captured the attention of the marketers as well as business firms. It is provided as one among the popular digital marketing or online marketing services. After successful results in many regions, affiliate marketing has been gaining popularity worldwide. Its acceptance and inculcation in the marketing campaigns is going to reduce a lot of burden on the marketers.
There has been a large debate over the impacts of above the line marketing efforts and campaigns. Today, the business talks in terms of brands and equities, with components that are intangible. But when it is affiliate marketing, everything is measured, monitored and tracked.
Affiliate marketers or e-marketers are responsible for creating business leads which can be refined and turned into conversions. The marketers, by writing exclusively about the products and services of the dealers, happen to produce the leads or queries.
Affiliate marketers have
their own web sites and these web sites are visited by the people. By placing advertisements and paid communications on the sites, these publishers convince the visitor to either visit the merchant's site or buy from him (merchant).
There are two ways an affiliate marketer can earn. In one case the marketer may present the merchants idea or promote the brand of the merchant. This task does not require any conversions or buying on the part of consumer. It is like advertising and is charged the same way.
In case second, the affiliate may sell the business leads instead. These leads have a value to the product or service provider and means profit to him.
Based on these two tasks and practices we have different compensation models. Some popular ones are Pay Per Click (PPC), Pay Per Action (PPA), Pay Per Impression (PPI) and Pay Per Mille (PPM). PPC and PPA are widely used for lea generation, whereas PPI and PPM are used in online advertising and simple promotions.
An affiliates marketing is paid according to a commission structure. There is a fixed amount disbursed to the affiliate for the click, action or impression; as has been provided in the affiliate program. The program may be provided either by the merchant himself or affiliate marketing network.
