RSS Subscribe Using Resale Rights Products to Increase Sales and Sign Ups
Resale rights products are nothing new to online marketers, but I am astounded at just how few affiliate marketers are using these products to leverage more sales. There are many different types of "Rights Products" that you can purchase. This article will simply focus on Master Resale Rights.
It does not matter if you are a veteran marketer or "brand spanking new" to the business. There are millions of affiliates online marketing everything from pantyhose to pool tables. And that means, that there will be plenty of competition if your niche is somewhat profitable. I am going to give you a picture in your head, it is one that many affiliates do not even think about. Your customer arrives at your affiliate sales page and likes your product or service, but wants to shop around a little bit more before hitting the pay button. They still sign up for more information and your auto responder "Kicks into action", everything still seems good from your perspective.
But while they are out shopping around a little more they see an ad that says, don't buy "The Widget" until you check out our deal. Oh yes, these ads are all over the place on google if you just look a little bit. Your prospect visits this other affiliates site and sees that they are offering a package of bonus products if they sign up or purchase from their site. The customer is not a idiot and knows a better deal when he/she sees it and purchases on the spot. You lose the sale and worse yet, is that you never even knew it.
Now to make things really crummy, you have captured the customers email and your auto responder is following up with them, but the messages sent to them are geared solely toward selling them that product. Eventually they un-subscribe and you have gained "zero, zip, zilch, nada.
How do you combat this, increase the odds in your favor and make the sale? Simple, you probably have some products sitting on your hard drive that you downloaded from some free giveaway event. Go wipe the dust off of them, unzip them and see if they offer resale rights or giveaway rights.
If so you are in luck, set up a bonus page or rework your existing affiliate sales page to offer these products to your customers if they sign up or buy from you. It will take some effort on your part, if you are completely hopeless at editing web pages than outsource for a small fee to someone on elance or rentacoder, two excellent places to find expert programmers and designers.
Also build a sign up page (squeeze page) for people to subscribe for more info and follow up about your product. Once they have signed up as a subscriber give them information that they can use, do not jam sales hype down their throats. Over time, as you begin to understand just how powerful resale rights products are to earn money online, start investing in them here and there and organize them. You can package them into niches and offer them to your subscribers for even more sales down the road.
Your affiliate sales and commissions will increase quickly as will your monthly income, thanks to understanding the power that resale rights offer you. Put yourself into your customers shoes, it is something that many affiliates neglect. Would you purchase the "widget" for $49.95 from site A, or would you purchase the widget from site B, that offers incentives and bonuses? Yes, you answered site B as everyone else did.
